money is that they are expensive to maintain. Read the "General" and "Technical" forums to see the possible problems with a TT of that mileage. ... The injectors are a headache. Before 95, they have "old style" injectors, that decay with ethanol in the gas. You picked a good example of why to avoid a Z if you're on a budget. ... Also, shop carefully for an NA, if you choose to buy one. There are plenty out there that are overpriced because it's a "Z", hoping for the ignorent buyer. There are smaller cars that are fun and sporty for that money, but none as good looking. I think a Del Sol would be great, but they are the only cars I know of that have gone up in value over the last few years.
